Usage Instructions

Deploy RescueAI safely and run diagnostics-first recovery from your bootable USB.

Before Boot

• Disable Secure Boot for MVP builds.
• Select UEFI boot mode when available; legacy BIOS remains supported.

Create USB

Windows

• Use Rufus or balenaEtcher with the RescueAI ISO.

macOS

• Use balenaEtcher (recommended) or dd with correct target disk.

On First Boot

1. Wait for network check and rescue menu initialization.
2. Run disk health checks before any repair operations.
3. Use the AI provider menu for guided troubleshooting and next steps.
